About Shimamura Hikari
Shimamura Hikari is an illustrator and textile artist who creates unique works by combining dyeing techniques with illustration. A graduate of Tama Art University (BFA in Textile Design, MFA in Design and Textile Design), her work features flat, warmly textured images of people, animals, plants, and everyday life, expressed through the tactile quality of fabric. She has provided artwork for books, packaging, CD jackets, fabrics, and animation, while also actively exhibiting her creations.
