About Masao Takahata 高旗将雄

Masao Takahata is an illustrator from Aichi Prefecture, now based in Hokkaido. His works feature simple yet expressive lines, often infused with subtle humour. While he primarily works with silk screen printing, he enjoys experimenting with various artistic techniques. In addition to paper goods, he creates unique accessories such as brooches and date stamps. Since 2020, he has expanded his artistry to woodcarving, inspired by his passion for collecting carved bears.
