About Aya Inoue

Born and raised in Kyoto, Aya Inoue spent time in California before settling in Fukuoka in 2020. A few years ago, she finally acquired the long-admired mimeograph printing machine, and since then has been completely absorbed in the joy of drawing lines with it.

Her works reflect the unique textures and charm of this traditional technique, capturing warmth and individuality that can only come from hand-pulled prints.
